Gold-sputtered track-etched polycarbonate (PCTE) membrane filters are suitable for a wide range of applications where protection of the underlying membrane is required. The gold layer also provides an electrically conductive surface, which is essential for electron-microscopic examinations.
Fibre measurements in accordance with VDI 3492, VDI 3861 Part 2, and ISO 14966 require these filters, as do analyses of powders and dusts per BIA 7487, ISO 22262-2, and VDI 3866 Part 5. Our filters are specifically optimized for these requirements, and are also available with other pore sizes, filter diameters, or alternative base films such as polyester. Gold-sputtered track-etched filters are also available in ready-to-use monitors for indoor air investigations.
