Reliable Airborne Contaminant Sampling – the New PNA 800

The PNA 800 sampling unit was specifically developed for measuring airborne contaminants such as asbestos, man-made mineral fibers (MMMF), PCBs, aldehydes, and other substances in both outdoor and indoor air. It meets the technical requirements of VDI 3492. The plug-in inlet tubes allow fast and uncomplicated setup and dismantling, even under demanding on-site conditions. Thanks to intuitive operation and continuously readable pre-run and sampling time settings, the device is exceptionally practical in day-to-day use. Preconfigured sampling programs can be started quickly via preset keys, ensuring smooth workflows especially in abatement / remediation areas. The volume flow is electronically monitored and precisely controlled via the integrated gas meter. The operating volume is measured in accordance with VDI 3492, enabling accredited sampling. No additional equipment such as external flow meters is required.


Optionally, the PNA 800 can be equipped with a high-performance lithium battery that enables a full sampling cycle according to VDI 3492 (8 hours at 8 L/min). In mains operation, automatic switchover to battery power in the event of a power outage ensures uninterrupted sampling.
