Gold-coated track etched filters made from polycarbonate, which are suitable for a range of different applications requiring protection of the polycarbonate filter beneath the gold layer. At the same time, the gold layer provides an electrically conductive surface, which is required, for example, for subsequent inspection with electron microscopes.

Fibre measurements in accordance with VDI 3492/VDI 3861 Bl.2 and ISO 14966 require these filters to be used, as does the analysis of powders and dusts in accordance with BIA 7487.
